Landscapeig tut needed!

Post by Dizuki »

I'm trying to create a tut playlist on youtube for reference on how to use blender. I need it becuase My team and I are pretty new to working in 3d. I've found a great basics tut, and a impressive charater tut, but my collection is missing a good landscape tut. I can find a bunch, but there all dealing with makeing animation. So i'm not really asking for anyone to go out of there way to make one, but if anyone knows a good game map/level makeing tut for blender/unity it would be a great help.

I would recommend going to sixtimesnothing's website

http://www.sixtimesnothing.com/tools-and-resources/

Look at the terrain toolkit and the others. I am going to download the Unisky this weekend and give it a try and I will rate it. The terrain toolkit will generate you a terrain by moving some sliders around and adding some textures, and do it for you, so you don't have to do it by hand. The river/road tool is about the same thing. I am currently using all of these in our current project. I just learned about the sky feature...
