Re: Toying with BigWorld
I heard that the asset management was a beast from MMORPGMaker folks. Looks good, though! I think there is a lot of promise in BW! But like Gill has said a few times over there, it really does need an MMOKit for it. From all I have heard, there really is not enough reference material or ready-made, customizable MMORPG mechanics in it out of the box.

yeah, I am not going to try to make anything with it anytime soon. Just going to play with it. Lots of work to do to get it all where it needs to be.

decided to modify the gear a bit
Re: Toying with BigWorld
This is the engine that the "Stargate Worlds" mmo was using..... it looked really pretty good as far as what they released about it but since CME has now collapsed it will never release. I want to to see World of Tanks in action though.
I also wonder what cost of their commercial software license is.

Re: Toying with BigWorld
You can get a commercial license for $300 for Big World provided you give them 10% royalty if I remember right. Maybe the royalty was a bit higher than that, but not as high as UDK's 25%, I know for sure. Pretty good considering it used to be $100,000+.
