So I had my fill of RC lying to me and not giving me the source so I posted about it.

I would just like to say how incredibly disappointed I am in Solstar. I asked for source code ages ago and still have not got it. I bought RC for the source so I could make my project the way I wanted and thanks to no answer and false advertisement my project has been on hold for way too long. You advertise on the website to buy RC that source is included. This is unprofessional and you have held up my project long enough..

Thank god Big World indie is now only $299!!! You will reap what you sow my friends..

there was a few replies from members agreeing with me then a mod tried to lie and the members caught him on it, then they tried to lie about BW so I posted

Hey Solstar do you hear this??? Users complaining...its called customer service, learn it! I came to you in need of a engine to build my project, you announced your engine as including the source. You DID NOT give me the source and caused my project to fall even further behind. I have a rightful complaint so do not pretend I am wrong here.

Actually the customer service at BW is AWESOME!!! They give out their cell phone numbers!! Do not preach to me about a engine you know nothing about. They do not false advertise, take days and even weeks to answer emails, delete threads from the forums, lie about their product, refuse to help members of the community, and turn forum members against people against them.

You can silence me here which I am sure you will do soon, but guess what? If you ignore me and silence me I will go to youtube and every forum I am admin on or a part of. Who hasn't seen me with a pile of posts on any other forum you browse? I am everywhere. I can reach thousands of indie developers in no time. I have a recording of tons of MAVs in RC, the server lagging/dropping with only 20 players, my request for source and no answer, my emails with no answers, all the complaints, the blasting of forum members, all in a nice video to help you advertise RC. Don't step on me like you do so many others. This outright theft of the indie community ends today. Step up and take responsibility for the product you have produced and quit hiding behind forum members. These pawns you use are only tough here where they have some admin access.

I gave up on Solstar years ago. We never got what we were promised way back in RC's original release and everything they've said either never materialized or took years to do so...

They had a real opportunity to fill a huge want in the MMO community - they were the only MMO Maker out there for a while and they had a huge audience of people just eager to use their product. Too bad it was buggy and unfinished, even several years after release. Now things have changed and people have other options. It's Solstar's loss

yep and to my surprise the community is agreeing with me. No more fanbois! I think it is all fixing to catch up with them.

It wouldn't surprise me if they completely drop RCPro and disappear with everyones money.

Well Solstar ended up releasing source to many people who were asking for it Too bad it took all that and me getting bashed by a bunch of kids to get it. I am boycotting their forums from now on. Its like trying to tell a bunch of 1st graders Gi Joe is a pansy

The fact that they released it after all this time, only because of you standing up to them, is terrible. If they said they were giving it out then it should have been readily available.

I gave up on them quite a while ago. I stopped using RC a couple years ago, and just stuck around the forums hoping to help people, but finally left once nearly everyone there appeared to be a bunch of 10 year-olds.

That part is extremely juvenile.

Your threatening a company to post "hate" on other forums. Come on, grow up. You left RC months ago and now just decided to make a new thread? Jeez. I dont care if you dont use the engine. But to continue this series of complaints is just ridiculous.

I'm getting tired of seeing you call an engine or game system crap instead of just coping with it and adapting to get around your problems.

If you want to have a discussion about RC, keep it on the RC forums, not posting a cry/complain thread (with a not so mature title) on your own forum which you of course are the owner of.

Keep things in context and look at how silly some of the stuff you say is. You act like RC is a failure, but plenty of members support it with their own proven data. Just because you and a majority of owners fail to make anything of it, dosnt make it a terrible tech.

As an indie your awfully unforgiving.

did you even bother to read the damn post or did your fanboism block that! i have not been using RC because they did not give me source. I finally had to make a stupid post like that to make them give it to me. It is their unprofesionalism that drove me to act on their level.

Your right out of the 30,000 sales they have 2 commercial games should equal success. Why is it that everywhere RC is mentioned nearly everyone says exactly what i am saying. Are we all wrong and only those on RC forums right?

I have said a million times that RC is a good engine, it is Solstar that is garbage.
