Hey,
How was this game made?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADReLzu8pn4
I used to play this like 5-6 years ago but the developers just closed it down and have not enabled the servers at all, even though keeping the website online.
The game servers were disconnected because the developers did not want to work on the game anymore but declined any offers to buy (I even offered to buy the game that had a few 0's at the end of it) but they declined that too.
This game has so much potential, and players are wanting to play it again.
What was it developed in based on various videos you can see online? It was all browser based, deffo some mysql databases but I want to re-create this game.
Thanks

That may have been one of the reasons it shut down. With Flash being disabled by default now in some browsers (where you have to actually go into settings and manually enale it for it to load even if you have it installed) they likely faced the decision to rewrite the whole client in HTML5 or some other future-proofed technology or shut-down and rewriting it probably didn't make financial sense at the time.

I really hate that so many of these games are not open sourced. Just code left to die.

True. This is basically the indie equivalent of abandonware. And it falls much deeper into the abyss.
