Godot Engine

Its been awhile since i have been on here and i have been looking at the Godot engine and was wondering what people thoughts was on it

I have not used it but I also hear great things. It has definitely came a long way and the support is great. Constant updates. For 2d is definitely a great alternative to Unity. 3D I think is still being hashed out but I could be wrong.

Godot, yeah. It's an engine that you can use. I'd say jump into it and let us know what you think of it.

I've tried to jump into it, and I found limited amount of resources on it. So I decided to move on with something else. If you know what you are doing, then give it a shot. If you are a beginner, then it depends. In my opinion, it's the personality of the person which will determine what game engine they will use.

I will say that their documentation is way better than it was a few years ago or even this time last year.
