Story
The date is July 4, 2276. The apocalypse has come and gone; and all of the disease has ceased. Above the Earth's atmosphere, but still in orbit, there was a massive space ship. It was named "The Colony". Almost one hundred years after the disease became a problem, it was time to return to humanity's home: Earth. It was decided to settle in what was once known as Washington D.C. Now, it was just a huge mess of pre-disease buildings that were once occupied, and bodies.

The disease caused what is known as a zombie apocalypse. Once acquired, the disease made it's host crave flesh. The host would dine upon other people's flesh, and then the victim would acquire the disease as well through the saliva of the infected (if they were not killed in the process of getting eaten).

The disease ceased due to the fact that once acquired, the host had no drive to reproduce. Once the disease infected most of Earth, it simply killed off all the population on Earth that did not go up in "The Colony". It was estimated that it would all be over in around 100 years, and the estimate was right in the correct range.

The first Colony was designed by the Allies in World War II to prevent the human race from getting killed off by nuclear war. It was designed soon after the results from the development of the atomic bomb was unclassified. The project was scrapped after the cold war ended in the mid 1990's. Little did the world know that the project would have to be re-opened.

The disease was first discovered in 2112 by and in the United States. It started with a man who ate the brain of a cow. When the man ate the brain of the cow, he got a very rare disease that was quite like a mix of rabies and mad cow disease. The disease later grew on him, and he needed to eat flesh. That is when he infected the second human to get the disease.

"The Colony Project" was reopened in December of 2131. The disease was really getting bad at this time. People were getting infected all the time. The infected were eating flesh and had to get shot in order to get them to stop. A huge quarantine project was started to house the infected and keep them separate from the non-infected population of the world. The future was looking bad for Earth.

In the project, all the companies that manufactured parts for the space programs of the world, whether they are United States based or not, were contracted to help build parts of this massive space structure. This had pros and cons. Some of the pros were that they could build it very, very fast. The cons were that many people knew about it. This means that there was riots when people were told that they could not go on the spacecraft.

When the Colony returned to Earth, it was time to clean up the old streets. That was finished rather fast in the old Washington D.C. That is when you were born. Is the world safe? That is for you to decide. You don't have to expore, but what fun is that?

I don't believe in platform-specific development, but I also don't believe in Apple.

Thanks! The website is moving right along! I won't have any updates from tomorrow until the night of the end of Phase 1, but I will have some major updates in the storyboard on the 11th. Wait: is it Friday night, or Friday morning that phase 1 is over? If it is Friday morning, I beg you to extend it to Friday night. :D

One suggestion:
I would remove the feature of "Nearly unhackable user authentication system"
The reason is that is actually an invitation for attackers to try to crack your system. And that is something I believe you would not want to waste efforts with.
Real life example, during a program I was with, an Admiral (Who shall remain unnamed) stated during a press conference of having a "100% hacker proof network." You can guess what happened within the next four days...

I do like the concept of the in-game programming within one's computer.

I agree
same with the lifelock guy putting his social security number on that truck and saying he is safe. He has had his identity stolen 4 times since :)
