Basically they show like a strip of lists of recommended clickbaity articles on new tab page... which is like.. wtf? I sometimes had to double check if I'm actually using chrome... lol
I have seen that!! I thought I was the only one facepalming over that crap!
But yeah, for anyone who has either programmed on 80's computers or for a retro console, it is absolutely mind blowing that anyone would ever need even 1GB for an application that is run by a separate operating system. Bill Gates once said that no one would ever need more than 640K of RAM. And as stupid as it sounds now, that is really how people felt in the 80's. If you are just talking about raw data, you can store a ridiculous amount of stuff in 1MB of memory. And now loading the mostly blank Google homepage takes over 500MB of memory. Seriously?!
