This is kind of sad. But pbbg.org has vanished. I am not sure how long ago it may have happened. The whole purpose of its existence was to forward "PBBG" as the name for a distinct genre of browser games that really had not been defined previously. It defined the term, gave examples of what were and were not PBBGs and also had a directory of PBBG games and development resources (I believe IR was listed on there).
I do believe it made a difference in the years it was there. You do see a lot of game development sites use the term, and there are several "top PBBG" websites. But I wonder if usage of the term will start to decrease without the site pushing its definition and usage.

Its sad that pbbg.com is also kept by one of those domain resellers. I think this stuff needs to be regulated better. It will sit there for years with no one buying it.
