This September: 20 years since the PS1 release
Wow, this makes me feel very old. It doesn't feel like it was all that long ago, but in September 1995, the PS1 was released in North America and Europe (the 20th anniversary has already passed in Japan).

16 here. Ugh... But I remember how much I hated it because I was worried it would destroy Nintendo.

Haha! I hated the name when it came out, and always joked with my friends about how it sounded like a kid's toy, all the while playing my real man's system, the Sega Saturn. That all changed when I walked into an Electronics Boutique and saw a TV running the opening to Final Fantasy VII. I got one shortly after that lol.

I had a Sega Saturn and bought it only for the game Myst. I love games like that. When I Beat the game I would play it again. I would like to make something in JavaScript like that.

I personally never liked games like that. However I have seen one or two done through the web that were not flash. Would be quite easy using WebGL as well.Mardonis wrote:I had a Sega Saturn and bought it only for the game Myst. I love games like that. When I Beat the game I would play it again.
