Anyone know anything about Diwali?

Post by Jesusfreak »

I just heard about it today, it's some Indian holiday that takes place tommorow  .

Anyone know anything about it or how it's celebrated?

Here's a website on it I found... http://www.diwalifestival.org/

I am American Indian, so I would know nothing of this Holiday. Have no reason to know anything about it really. May they have a happy Diwali day.

I lived in Bangalore for a year.

Think of Christmas - complete with family get-togethers, gifts, christmas style lights and lots of firecrackers; called crackers in India. LOTS of firecrackers. In case I did not get that point home, I meant LOTS! As in freakin Disney World closing fireworks display on every block lots!

For the next three days, the whole country sill look and sound like a warzone as people literaly spend an entire years' savings on outdoing their neighbor in a display of wealth. It is also a blast! :P

Wait a minue Halls, do you mean you're an Indian that lives in and grew up in America, or did you mean Native American?

If you're REAL Indian ethnicity, well, no wonder you became a great gamemaker. Indians own  . The girls are hot too  .

The firecrackers seem to be pretty important. Sigh, I doubt I would be allowed to light fireworks on my college campus  .

Granted, a lot if not all of those are of their "model" class, but you get the idea. Indian women in real life are often hot too. I just can't post pics of everyday Indian girls because pics of regular, everyday girls are very hard to find on the internet, whereas "sexy" pics are just a couple clicks away  I'm pretty sure there's ugly Indian women, just like some white women are ugly, but I don't come across them much for some reason.

I don't even know what IT and IS stand for, so I won't argue with you there :(.
