King's Landing - Game of Thrones

I had no idea Kings Landing was shot in Croatia! This is pretty cool:

There's a video showing the visual effects before and after and its amazing on what CGI pushes the show to the limit. Most of the locations are small compared to the ones on the show, and then they use the goold old green screen to create that huge environment we all see on the show.

Jacko, 10/10 i recommend :)

I may check it out sometime. Not that I doubt it is good, but I rarely pick up new TV shows since they eat up so much time.

Yeah, I have cut out a lot of TV shows in recent years. I never realized how much time I was spending on shows I didn't really even care for that much. Left me with a lot more time for other things. That said, Game of Thrones is one of the increasingly few I gladly give up an hour a week to :D

I hate this show. One of the worst I have seen in some time.

Blasphemy!

How can you hate Game of Thrones!

It has dragons... and naked women... and random deaths... and undead. It's the perfect story for an HBO series! :)

It is a shock value show. They cannot write enough good dialogue so they kill someone off or have someone screw someone, ect.. HBO is getting famous for it. True Blood was ruined by it. Bad writers making up with worse decisions. :P

Have you read the books? Storm of Swords is arguably one of the best Fantasy novels ever written IMO. Feast for Crows... not so much :)
