Yeah, no need to hop back in yet. You know how it is. I've spent the past week playtesting here and haven't had a chance to "fix" that farm for you. Been tweaking the various bits of code and calculations. Sometimes you just have to play your game to see how it feels. I've found many bugs that I've fixed. Added a couple of QoL things. For me, it's the journey which is what's exciting. This project will be constantly evolving and growing as I go, just feels good to be doing something and coding.

Anyways, I'll update here as usual.

So yeah, the game has been updated. I've also added that farm to your toon, so that should function when you go there. There has been a bunch of code tweaks and math streamlining. The main inspiration that has come today actually was the "Tweeps". Decided to prepare the database and coded in various pieces to have them working.

The whole game will be something like this:

->New Area->Complete Dungeon->Clear Monsters->Establish Town->Build Buildings->Upgrade Buildings->Recruit Tweeps->Assign Tweeps->Send Expedition->Find New Area->Repeat

At least that's the cycle as I have envisioned. Right now we are working in about the middle of that cycle, "Establish Town->Build Buildings->Upgrade Buildings->Recruit Tweeps". Obviously the rest of the systems like Combat, Crafting, etc. will all be touched upon as this goes. Which I have and will continue to go over as we add complexity to the game. The intention is to make this game take a long time for players to establish other areas and towns. The zones will be all hand crafted, as that's the intention, and to "expand" the game with various events with the new zones being released every so often if needed.

The game is coming along and as I play test it, I find those places to tweak so that the game ends up a bit smoother. Lot's of fun and I'm learning a lot.

So as usual, I'm getting this game done one line of code at a time. Implemented a repair system for metallic items. Some bug fixes and tweaks all over. Redid the crafting system a bit. Created a silly mini-game as well.

So it's coming along, and I've been playtesting it. So yeah, hop in there and check it out.

Will do! I just had oral surgery and I have been out for a bit but feeling better now and will get back to normal.
