Silver Town

Have a project in the works but not much media? How about an idea you are turning into a project? Maybe a game design document you want to start with. This is the place.

As of now, I got the gun working, so when pressing the LMB it fires the gun and impacts against the building, barrells, fences, trees, etc. I still have aways to go. I still have to build the main town and get it all programed...

First off, building up the starting location...then on to the town!! Then the rest of the story! :)

Here is the updated level, where you can see the gun texture, a better view of the building/barrells, and the added GUI (crosshair), etc. The explosion is from firing the gun. This is just a test firing...not the actual effect...just testing code!

Updated the gun, and the way it fires...also added a temp GUI which I will change later...but figured I would show the next bit.

Working pieces:

Walking
Rotating
Firing w/gun sounds
Barrels can be moved via the gun shot
Health bar works
Ammo reduction works with self re-loading ammo

@ZeroComp:
No, the models came from Turbosquid. I am no modeler, and thats what will take me FOREVER to do when I get ready to start adding on to this level. The models shown here are able to be used free in any project. I make sure of it before I download it! :)

@Jack:
Thanks!

So I started modeling the town, and as I have said before, I am not the best modeler in the world, but I put together a sheriffs office. Its the only building I have done so far, and its not textured. Would like peoples opinion on this...
