Started some work for the house content of cubicverse. After doing all that code and the animals, it changes for once:
I will need to check inside the game for the proportions of the objects but overall I'm quite happy about them.
Drawing the table was quite fast it was more to know what kind of look I wanted. If you want some tutorial about how to create such shapes just ask it.

It kind of reminds me of a higher-res Ultima Online.

If I manage to make an ultima online like game, I would be more than happy
Anyhow isometric is isometric... so you will have always a bit the same kind of feeling. But but assured it's all self done.

Call me an old-timer, but I love the good iso games, I loved ultima games (not much ultima-online actually).

Same here. UO makes me nostalgic...even though I didn't really play it. I think it just reminds me of some of those cheap small jewel-case PC game RPGs that game stores used to have on those rotating racks back in the 90's. I used to get a ton of those since I was young and didn't always have a ton of money for new games, and some of them were pretty good (I actually got Fallout 1 that way). They were almost all isometric pre-rendered games.a_bertrand wrote:Call me an old-timer, but I love the good iso games, I loved ultima games (not much ultima-online actually).
