Articy: Draft 2

Post by Jackolantern »

Has anyone else here seen Articy: Draft 2? It is essentially a game design tool. And I mean, literally "design", not as in it helps you create finished games. Its primary goal is to assist game designers with writing stories, creating characters, branching story lines, etc.

It looks interesting, but probably over-kill for a lot of our projects. I was just interested if anyone was or has used it.

Whoa, interesting help tool but my Whoa came from the pricing. It's most probably worth it and even more but as an hobbyist, it's totally Whoa! :D

Oh, holy crap lol! I saw a $99 price on Steam, but didn't realize that was just an upgrade from version 1 to 2.

Yeah, that is too rich for my blood :P

Yeah, this was posted due to an odd situation where Steam has only the upgrade for $99, but not the stand-alone, which is much, much more money. Way too expensive for what it is for most small indies and hobbyists.
