Forsaken Sanctum FPS
Well the Reopen of FS is finally complete. I got the team members together and we have pushed out a plan and got a game design document together.
This first installment of FS will be a FPS built with Unreal Engine. It is a for sure project that has been set in stone and the team I have assembled are holding me to this project.
The project will actually be broken into two projects, a web game and a FPS. The webgame will be based off the same story and content but will be something to play while waiting on the FPS and when players are not able to play the FPS. There will be some linkage of the two games. The FPS game will be Single player with Multiplayer maps.
I am recruiting for artists, writers, designers, ect.. Any and all committed help will be accepted. I hope to get back to the days of a bustling community and fun development times.
The current website and forums are under a massive overhaul so please excuse the mess, placeholders and unfinished designs.

I am no longer working on MMORPGS, indefinitely. The web game will be MMO though. I have sank all my other projects except for my Indie-Resource videos and will not pick up another project until this is finished. If I fail here I will quit game development all together. That's a promise, its time to finish one or leave. I have spent the money I made from selling my games and frameworks into buying the software to develop this so I am more committed than ever. I have been building up to this reopen for several months. I do not expect to make a dime off this project but instead use this as a launching pad into the industry for the developers helping me.
You can sign up on the forums if interested or PM me. Thanks
Hope to have screens real soon.

Goodluck on this halls! I'd like to help out, but I don't think my artistic abilities are good enough for Unreal, and I have no idea how programming/scripting works in Unreal.

Re: Forsaken Sanctum FPS
thanks for the luck
the great thing about unreal is it makes even the most basic artwork look fantastic. From what I have seen from you, you should not sell yourself short. You do good work my friend.
Re: Forsaken Sanctum FPS
Thanks for the praise halls
I was wondering about Unreal's art pipeline; how easy is it to get a basic untextured model into it without 3DSMax or Maya?

Good luck! I'm sure this will create quite a stir in the community.
However, if there is a vacancy, I could help with anything (but I'm not that good). But I am working Impedimenta, so I can't do much.
Pax.

UDK has several ways to get models in the game and also has lots of plugins. People have been modding Unreal for years.

It sounds kind of important to finish one - so what are the conditions for having finished one of these games? Good luck!

Re: Forsaken Sanctum FPS
well things have headed in another direction on its own. Developers got active and we are moving quite fast. I should have some screens up soon...hopefully but this is the first 3d project I have enjoyed in quite some time.
The browser version I am going solo on. I have a excellent idea on how to build this one, I am very excited about it as well. It is like my development funk I was in has finally passed.
