Hi all new and old players

The first link is the original forums on the game engine. The second I own and was going to be a different version of it. Not sure what I am doing with it all at this point. I did get most of the main island of the game done this week.

I am basically rebuilding this engine and game. It is a browser based MMO engine.

I had contacted them about their engine months back but was told that anything done with it had to be both shared out free to public code wise and there could be no monetary gain from any game made with the engine. But I will say it wasn't a total loss I did learn some stuff from the client and server code that can be useful in the future.

I have never played Stendhal but yeah they seem similar. NEAB has been around for more than 10 years though.

I wouldnt say that. We have the engine, and copy of the DB. If enough people were to get together and collaborate and I am sure we could get it going again.

I miss NEaB so much and everyone that played, I'm very upset that it died. I hope the new one gets up soon.

Why won’t you guys build your own NEAB? Team up together and start a new world for NEAB? I would do it after all my engines and modules is release.
