Ok here are the list:

1) customizable theme: the engine can offer 2 option. Image GUI or Custom Css GUI.

2) popup npc dialog box with letter showing 0.5 per second.
It will give the feel of a rpg style game.

3) troop system

4) troop battle system

5) player location display on a map.

6) preset layout menu adjustment.

7) economy system

8) raiding module (require 4-8 player to raid)

9) building upgrade and requirement and condition

10) player own shop

11) player own company (can hire player or npc)

12) player create quest

13) player create object

14) education system

15) talent skill tree

16) rent or buy house, apartment, etc

17) marriage system

18) timer system for all upgrades

Well that's it so far... :)

Finally somebody which understood what I mean by a list of features ;)

Now, shall the rules be customized without coding? shall it have a story (editable)? Shall it have a tutorial (editable)? Shall it have features unlocked based on the story progression, or timer based? etc etc.

I say customize without coding. Let's do timer based and for the story part, we can create a npc module where you can auto load the dialog box or trigger by event. This can be use as a tutorial and storyline and as a notification alert.

Since this is a pbbg game and it's play as you go. The layout should for fit for any mobile device.

A way to monetize your game would be helpful. Whether it's a item players need a lot of to get stronger (ability cards or the like) or gear that wears out there needs to be some reason for players to come back and want to spend a little bit on the game. Obviously we would want to make it possible (although harder) for the free player to do well too.

I like a lot of player interaction module here is a few I think we need:

1) player post status module: player can post status on to the game feed with a cost

2) multiple chat rooms

3) game notification by email that your town is being attack or you are being attack

Is this a pbbg for a strategy game? Will there be options to make either a strategy game or an rpg? There's a difference in the genres, and so far the ideas presented seem to be strategy game oriented (troops, upgrading towns, etc). Otherwise, all this is great.

I completely agree that customizing your character to a great degree is very appealing to players. If I were to monetize anything, it would be fluff to customize your character even further, whether that's cool looking armor, hair, skins, or even customizable player housing, pets, etc.

I would like options to not monetize features that would fall into the pay to win category, though game owners might want that. Monetization options should be, well, optional.

it can be both for stratgey or mmorpg. this engine should handle any kind of genre. it will be more work but hey we got time hahahaha!
i would like to see more flexible customization on the look of the game tho.

well here is a live demo of KWM PBBG verison:

http://pbbg.nowhereelse.x10.mx

It's NEAB engine rename to KWM Engine and convert for the pbbg verison. It's still needs a few more modules like:

1) location

2) combat

3) npc dialog

4) jail

5) hospital

KWM_PBBG also have a one click button to create a module like NWE inside the "Admin Panel" called "Module Creator"

if anyone is willing to volunteer to create those module that will be great! Let me know so i can give you guys a the license key.
