can you play guitar? How are you going to get music? Just curious if you already had ideas in mind. There is no doubt you could get some indie bands to donate music.

For in-game soundss and music, I can play some guitar, and I'm in a band right now and my bands usually leave there equipment here between close practises. So one member has an electric guitar, 800 dollar amp with amazing different settings so I can get in a wide variety of music styles in. Also we have recording equipment so I can get any guitar/instrument part onto the computer with a file converter program.
Also yea I was thinking of getting some indie band music, just gotta know exactly where in-game I'll use it and how much I need.

Nice idea for a game =D.
I probably wouldn't play it, since I hate rock music, but it'll sure fly off the shelves.
One problem with the idea though:

You can Take lessons to gain experience for money.

Bad idea. It'd be too easy for players to level simply by grinding for money (possibly with bots).

I think taking lessons for money is fine. But after a certain skill lvl. I don't think players should be able to learn anymore and instead have to practice on there own.

Yah, that'd work too.
But being able to train all the way to the maximum level with only money and not effort would be bad.

So go with his idea =D.

Yeah that would be bad. It would be awesome sorta. Would kill the game play abit. But I think just to help you get up to a certain point it might be useful.
