Hi guys
We're coding a melee pvp game called "Lizards & Meerkats". We've only recently begun (2 months ago), but it's indie and it's created with the isogenic engine (which's forum was here for quite a while if I recall correctly.
Have a look if you want, there's even a playable dev build: http://www.ck-game.com/LizardsAndMeerkats
Kind regards
Doidel

I love the idea for the game, but seriously...please stop that background. I couldn't read more than a couple of sentences into the blog before I felt dizzy and had to stop

Really? Suprising Oo hmm we intionally made it very slow and the text background nearly 100% opaque so it wouldn't be disturbing ^^

It just usually isn't a good idea to make moving backgrounds on long blocks of readable text

It read alright to me
Re: Lizards & Meerkats blog
Yeah, I actually started feeling a bit bad while reading.. Usually I can cope, but the twisting made my stomach twistJackolantern wrote:I love the idea for the game, but seriously...please stop that background. So I skipped the reading and pressed play until it vanished
For a simple menu, that is ok. "New Game, Options, Exit Game"-menu I mean.
But for an actual page with text didn't feel right.. Good idea thought!
Why so serious?

Hey guys!
The second blog post is out there, along with the latest dev build: lizkats.com!
We appreciate(d) your input and removed the rotating background. Hopefully it's well readable for all of you now
So thanks! And enjoy!
