Thanks, a friend of mine volunteered to re-do them when he gets some time on his hands. I am mostly focused on coding and my graphic design is not up to par. You know what they say about programmer artJackolantern wrote:Very nice looking game! The icons look great!

Good lord I would be so happy to be able to make art like that, and you are getting it re-done to look even better

Since he is good with both Photoshop and 3D modeling programs, there is one thing I have thought would look really cool. Say for monsters you took a 3D modeled monster, and animated it breathing (basically just a typical idle animation), and then you create an animated sprite of that idle animation on a loop and use it for the monster's image in the browser RPG. You could get more monsters out of it just like commercial MMOs do, where they shrink them, grow them, change their colors, add items to them, etc. Something similar could be done with items, too, where the typical item image is just a stationary shot of the model, but then make it rotate or change angles when the player mouses over it or something like that. There are probably other places where this could be used to exploit the animation and perspectives of 3D models to create cool visual effects in the 2D space of a PBBG.
Of course it could end up being a lot of work, but I think it could add a lot of visual interest to the screen, and separate it from most other PBBGs, which largely rely on completely static images.

I can understand that. Client-side code does tend to multiply compatibility issues, particularly on mobile browsers lol.
When you say "new project", do you mean a project outside of this one?

Hmm, not bad, nice job! The game is based on a game engine or is your own game engine?
