That is true, but there are some cases that could potentially trigger this issue, such as using particle effects. And although this is an extreme case, where an extreme number of sprites dropped it an extremely low FPS, normal use could drop it from 60 FPS to maybe 40 or 30 during particle effects if they experience the same issue.
