So I thought I would share some news with the group. I am in talks with Greg the current owner of NWE to buy it. He however wants more than I am willing to pay so after a lot of thinking on it I thought I would not just let it go at that. I am going to put up a kickstarter to try to raise the funds to purchase it. After purchase we will support the engine as well as continue to develop on it and make more models and updates. I will post more as I get closer to the kickstarter or IndieGOGO, whichever I decide to go with.

I definitely like the humor in it! But you would definitely want to add a bit more about what the actual plans are for the engine. I know that the campaign text would likely be providing that but it would probably be a good idea to mention it in the campaign. Since there are already articles and other sources online talking about it, it may be a good idea to give some background on the engine since it could be confusing for some potential backers who know that the engine has already existed and was available in the past.

Sounds good! Out of curiosity, what are your plans for NWE if you were to buy it? Would you basically restore the old plans the way they were?

Rebuild the community. Provide customer service and regular bug fixes as well as build up the mods section even bigger. I would not try to revamp the whole system. Also major price reduction,
