Re: need an Artist?
I'd like to keep this avenue open.
I and a few colleagues are always looking for artists on their side projects.
I'm not to sure on if we have a need for an artist at this moment in time, however if you or your niece could pm me her commission fee, etc.
I'm assuming you're a good liaison for contact purposes.
Nice work.

Yeah she is new at this and just looking for someone to show her the ropes and help her get some knowledge and a portfolio built.

DeviantArt is a pretty good place, as far as I know.hallsofvallhalla wrote:Yeah she is new at this and just looking for someone to show her the ropes and help her get some knowledge and a portfolio built.
To mingle with fellow artists and such, as it were.

Re: need an Artist?
I agree DeviantArt is a good place to go, but I've noticed that it is hard to get noticed to receive help, and with how much it is submitted it can be hard to get any recognition at all. Honestly this place here at IR is the most feedback I've ever heard, either positive or negative.
I saw figures there and am going on a limb saying she should check out some Gnomon stuff by David Finch, it's for comic character drawings but the way it teaches figure is amazing. Can be further applied to different styles. Met him at Toronto Fanexpo and was awesome to talk to about his inspiration
Should find out what she is most enthusiastic to draw and what makes her think of original concepts and get back to us, might be able to point in a better direction.

Thanks for the info! I have a couple teams lined up for her to work with so far. She is going to do some free stuff for a but until she gets the hang of it all and can build a portfolio
Re: need an Artist?
Her work is pretty good, halls. I'm surprised that you have not put her to work.

hehe I currently have Hall's disease. Would rather her be on a more stable team.
