Question on creating 3D art

Post by Baseball435 »

Hey everyone, I'm starting to get into unity3d (haven't really made anything yet) and I was wondering what would be a good program for a person who has never done this type of 3D art before. I don't really want to use 3d Max because it seems complicated. Im just looking for a user friendly, easy to learn program. So any suggestions them please post! Thanks in advance!

Silo is a really easy 3D modeling program, and is one of the main ones I use. It lacks many of the features of Blender, but it's still worth a look.

Also I advise you buy the Pro edition if you choose Silo, it has some essential features.

I started my 3D modelling by using AC3D, very very easy to learn, although it does lack some features that bigger programs have, it will get you in the mind set on how modelling works and make you learn the basics.
