Welcome to the Isogenic Engine section

Post by Jackolantern »

With the dramatic price drop on The Isogenic Engine, more known info about the engine and Halls' and other members' purchase and approval of it, we are expecting this may become a very viable engine for our members to create real-time browser-based MMORPGs.

This is the place to ask questions or post discussion or tutorials for The Isogenic Engine or tools related to its usage

Never heard of it, is it better (easier) than Unity Web Player deploying?

I would say it is completely different. Unity is a browser plugin to allow general development of 3D games, whereas Isogenic uses HTML5 canvas and is designed specifically for massively-multiplayer games (particularly MMORPGs, although other games types can be created).

Yes. It is mainly 2d but has examples of 3d that are impressive.
