I would like to point out that it’s a hybrid of MCC V1 and V2

Just found this: https://github.com/WaveHack/OpenDominion. Worth adding to the list?

Nice! It definitely looks interesting. I have been short of well-architected strategy games so yes I will add it to the list.

Cool! Do you have any plans to update the list in the near future? :) (I realize it's a lot of work)

I actually just added it as a one-off. A full update with adding more engines, taking older ones off, etc., will probably still be a while.

I also found https://github.com/Naddiseo/WW2Game, which is similar to good old https://www.kingsofchaos.com/. Might fit in the list, even though it's a bit old. The epoch3 code looks fairly decent (at least compared to many other mmorpg scripts I've seen).

I would probably pass on this one. It is very old (and thus a lot of it likely sits on the wrong side of the PHP 5+ compatibility divide) and the code looks rather bad. There are hundreds of codebases like this one once you step out of Github and look back to Sourceforge or Google Code, so I had to draw the line somewhere or the list would get gigantic. A lot of the original codebases on the list when it was first created where like this one (abandoned, "all-in-one" PHP style, old) and I have been weeding them out as newer entries have appeared. Thank you though :)
