[XW] Situation?

Does anyone know what has appened to xtremeworlds?? there website has been down for over 2 months and none of the downloads will open..

Not sure. Have you tried the sites of some of the source forks? I don't know any of their names right off hand, but I know some are fairly close to the original, and some are even better. It would not be a big issue if you are wanting to download the software and use it, but it would be a problem if you have a game half-complete and are needing support.

What was XW forked off of, Halls? Eclipse? I thought XW was actually the grandfather of them all, but I could be way off.

They all came from the mirage source. Even Eclipse.
