Good news managed to get the wamp server working, it turned out that there was a file in system 32 that needed to be edited or something.

what do you mean new user ? yeh i have the db made there is a took on the control panel that lets me do its the same as in the wamp tutorials did exactly the same thing just over the website instead and yeh i used localhost that might be why ill check with them and see if i should make the path loca...

i have managed to get the codes working on my own website the only problem is its still not connecting to the database somehow still comes back with no database selected, im sure all the paths are correct the username and password are in i have tried every way around it i can think of just dont know...

Nope i tried that again throught wamp still giving me the same message tried on firefox and IE later on ill post some screenshots of the file locations ect and the page telling me it wont connect =[ everything is online and should be working i just dont understand why not =[

I did try using firefox just to be sure but i didnt make it my default browser, I dont think that would make alot of difference but im still not sure ?
