Re: Indie-A.com - Indie Developer Site

That is essentially what my previous site Indiepoint (that I actually promised to bring back this year but slightly changed). It's a hard sell, you have to make apparent your value over existing forums (which work pretty nicely for indies) such as Tigsource, GameDev.net, et. all. What halls said is ...

Re: Facebook Game Payment Requirements

Paypal fees are 2.9 - 1.9% + .30, amazon and Google are similar. They offer some services but its mostly discovery (and ease of purchase for Facebook game players also arguably). most of the currencies benefits are only available if you explicitly make credits a part of your currency system (where y...

Re: Text editor for Mac

Yeah, true. You can also download X Code, which is the default code editor for Mac. You can get it for free, however, and correct me if i`m wrong, you`ll have to register to Apple ( say what?! Ya.. ) Anyway, I had to register at the time ( 3 years ago ). It`s not ideal for regular development work,...

Re: Text editor for Mac

For general purpose use I'd say Textmate > Coda. Coda is amazing, totally amazing, but mostly intended for web development. I <3 how it works with CSS though. In the spirit of springing for more, if you are just doing web development I'd recommend getting Coda. But its 99 where Textmate is like 35? ...

Yeah, but I've gotten past the point where I need to do everything. Now I hire people to do a lot of the work on stuff.
