Re: arkore here.
Welcome! I know what you mean. I have worked on mine on and off since 2011 haha. I seem to go in cycles. I will get all gungho about it and work on it a lot for a month, and then not touch it for 5 months, rinse and repeat. Result: five years later and I have multiple notebooks full of notes and ske...

Radar or Mini-Map in real-time, how is this done?
You would think this would be a popular tutorial subject, but I am having one hell of a time finding anything at all. I asked the instructor of a basic level game course I took but I didn't want to pester him further, so I bring the question to you lot  How do people code the mini-map radar...

Re: Pronunciations
So me and a few of my buddies at work were talking about hosting in Azure, and found we pronounced it differently (though I think there technically is a correct pronunciation). It got us to talking about other common phrases, so I'm curious how you guys pronounce or say each of these: Azure # (what...

Sounds like it is definitely a legitimate option.

Re: Multiple Canvas elements on same page or not?
I threw together this quick and dirty mock-up to try and better explain what I mean. Obviously it's dumb and makes no sense, but it does illustrate basically the general idea of what I meant. A PBBG that can be played in the browser but also as an app on tablets.

Re: Multiple Canvas elements on same page or not?
Yeah, I'm not very experienced so I am struggling to grasp how to best structure everything together.
What about cross-platform availability? Would multiple canvases not work for a tablet app version of the game?

Multiple Canvas elements on same page or not?
Context: a browser game written in HTML5/JS/Node, with multiple 'windows' or view-ports doing different things (say map, radar, vitals, etc). Would you just make the entire game inside one canvas, or break up each "content area" into it's own canvas and structure the rest of the game UI li...
