East Coast Game Conference
Anyone else going? It is next month in Raleigh NC. Maybe we'll run into each other there. I may be getting a booth in Indie Alley, still haven't decided on that yet. Should be a good time either way.

I have to agree, outside of xcode, testing OSX versions of my client, and maybe garage band, 98% of the time i am booted into windows. That just makes it an expensive windows laptop.hallsofvallhalla wrote:... I do not see the point in dual booting if I plan on staying on windows most of the time.

Re: Indie on the rise
pretty interesting, I just read one from Raph Koster yesterday pretty much about the same thing.

It just appears that it is because developers are choosing to move away from working for AAA studios.

Re: Sandbox MMO Kit
What do you think about this one: http://unigine.com/products/unigine/ Unigine is a very nice engine and it can be affordable too. I can't say exactly due to having an NDA with them but the cost is based on your total project budget. They have outstanding support and everyone there is very knowledg...

Re: Sandbox MMO Kit

I don't plan on using it, not too into how it is set up. If you or anyone else would like to use it I can change the admin login info for who ...

Re: Playcraft Engine
It is actually pretty nice been playing with it for a little bit. You guys should get you code shortly if you signed up. They are pretty quick to send them out. I got mine in a day or two after I signed up.

Re: We are back!!
Good to see it is back up and running sweet. I was getting worried for a while. Out of the 5 forums if frequently lurk in 1 is gone, 1 is inundated with spam, and then this one was unreachable so I was down to only 2 and getting worried. Glad it's back and faster than ever. Now I can continue to lur...

Re: Games your playing?
Client based - EVE Online Console - DUST- 514 Both are mainly time wasters when I am bored and have nothing to do. EVE is good for Sundays while watching football, you can mine a boat load during the games and DUST is a good way to take out aggressions instead of drop kicking the desktop/laptop duri...
